This 25cm kigoi from the renowned Otsuka farm exhibits the classic single, vibrant yellow coloration that makes this variety so striking and desirable.

The entire body is blanketed in a deep, rich yellow pigment that glows with an almost golden luminescence. The yellow extends from the head all the way down the back and sides to the thick, muscular peduncle and caudal fin.

There is no muddy or washed out appearance to the yellow at all. The coloration is solid and intense, with excellent depth and clarity. When the kigoi moves, the brilliant yellow seems to emit its own radiant light.
