Unveiling the Top Winners at Elite Koi Photo Show

Prepare to be dazzled by the crème de la crème of the koi world! Saturday's Elite Koi summer photo show brought out the most stunning specimens, and we're thrilled to showcase the champions.

In the Non-GoSanke category:

1st Place: Paul Whitman's breathtaking Ginrin Purachina stole the show! This living jewel captivates with its flawless, luminous scales that shimmer like polished silver against the snow White background. Its perfectly streamlined form epitomises the ideal platinum ogon, truly deserving of the top spot.

2nd Place: Simon Ohara's stunning Ginrin Goshiki is a visual masterpiece. The intricate pattern of red, black, and white creates a mesmerising effect, showcasing the beauty of this complex variety.

3rd Place: Joseph Stack's amazing Yellow Monkey Ginrin Karashigoi is a golden wonder. Its brilliant yellow colouration, enhanced by the sparkling ginrin scales, makes this koi a true standout.

In the prestigious GoSanke category:

1st Place: Mick Relph's phenomenal Hoshikin Kohaku is the epitome of classic koi beauty. The crisp contrast between the pure white body and vibrant red pattern is simply breathtaking.

2nd Place: Liam Grant's beautifully developing Showa shows immense promise. The intricate interplay of red, white, and black hints at the stunning koi it will become.

3rd Place: Michael Knudsen's outstanding Dainichi Showa rounds out the top three with its bold, balanced pattern and deep, rich coloration.
