Reagents for HI-711 Total Chlorine Pocket Checker
The HI-711-25 are high-quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate measurements with their Total Chlorine Checker® HC – HI-711. These reagents follow the DPD Method in which the reaction between chlorine and reagent causes a pink tint in the sample. By simply adding the packet of HI-711-25 reagent to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI-711 will determine the concentration from the colour that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppm (mg/L) of total chlorine. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0.00 to 3.50 ppm (mg/L) total chlorine.Tip for an accurate measurement
It is important that the sample does not contain any debris.
Whenever the cuvette is placed into the measurement cell, it must be dry outside and completely free of fingerprints, oil or dirt. Wipe it thoroughly with HI-731318 or a lint-free cloth prior to insertion.
Shaking the cuvette can generate bubbles, causing higher readings. To obtain accurate measurements, remove such bubbles by swirling or by gently tapping the cuvette.
Do not let the reacted sample stand for too long after reagent is added, or accuracy will be lost.
After the reading, it is important to discard the sample immediately, otherwise the glass might become permanently stained.Four steps. One click. Instant Readout.

20″ 3-stage pond dechlorinator water filter system, designed for use in aquatics, filtering tap water for koi and similar uses.
Stage 1 uses a 5 micron moulded polypropylene moulded filter and will remove dirt, sand, iron as well as other particulates.
Stage 2 is the granular activated carbon (GAC) filter, which removes chlorine and dissolved organic contaminants.
The block carbon filter (CTO) is used in stage 3, and will take out any further contaminants from the water.
This unit is installed with 3/4″ brass BSP threaded connections, and it also comes clunk click hose fittings.
Manufactured from heavy duty food grade plastics, this water purification system will provide the finest quality water for your fish. This unit also has air-bleed buttons to release a spike of pressurised air should the filters become slightly blocked. -
